Personal Traveler
Planted: 6/2/2007
Where: on me!
Status: active
My career and my favorite TV show have something in common. When you meet me on the trail, tell me what it is to receive my Personal Traveler stamp. I'm looking for a one word answer. Here's a hint. Find out which two words fit the following definitions. Then read them phonetically and you'll be well on your way to figuring out the common bond you seek.
Mystery Word #1 Definitions: 1. a gradation or variety of a color; tint2. the property of light by which the color of an object is classified as red, blue, green, or yellow in reference to the spectrum.
Mystery Word #2 Definitions:1. (Chiefly British) a motor truck, esp. a large one. 2. any of various conveyances running on rails, as for transporting material in a mine or factory. 3. a long, low, horse-drawn wagon without sides.
Hope to meet you soon!

'Til Death Do Us Part - PIF Letterbox
Planted: 4/17/2007
Where: Wayne County, MI
Status: retired
I didn't like the hiding spot or the open nature of this place. It was too visible. I didn't like the stamp either because there was a glitch in the rubber making it hard to stamp a clear image. Then I found out there was a geocache right near this box. So, I decided to remove it.
It will be relocated to new location soon with a new stamp.

Shocka Ankh hitchhiker
Planted: 10/1/2006
Where: Michigan Hitchhiker Hostel
Status: 8/2/2007 - more than likely destroyed. The HH was picked up in 10/2006 and moved to a box in Dearborn. That box was destroyed! There were no recorded finds after the 'boxers that left it there. Soooo, there's a slight possibility that sometime in the 4 long cold winter months that elapsed between when the box was found and destroyed, there was a finder that didn't record their find and also took the HH to safety. I doubt it, though! Oh well!
